Did you have a chance to play Nintendo’s latest Legend of Zelda game? When it comes to reviving childhood memories, Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild is, without a doubt, one of the most appealing titles. But what about the game itself? After playing it for some time, we’ve realized that it would of went much smoother had we know a couple of things.
But part of Legend of Zelda’s appeal is trying to figure out what to do and how to do it. There’s a great deal to do with Zelda besides killing enemies and scavenging for weapons. Since the Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild is a game focused on exploration, it would be a shame not to take advantage of its huge map in order to improve your character’s stats.
Concerning exploration, there are two things you’ll need to know: towers and vantage points. Why are these things so important? Think back to the time you played games such as Assassin’s Creed. It was more likely to succeed in an assassination mission if you took the high ground, say the roof of the building, which trying to sneak around on ground level.
It’s the same with Legend of Zelda – vantage points will allow you to see what lies ahead and to prevent you from waking up in front of a big and mean boss. The other aspect of exploring is knowing about the importance of towers.
Our advice to you is to seek out those towers as soon as possible. Why? Because one you’ve managed to climb on top of it, the fog of war will dissipate and you’ll be able to see what’s ahead.
On the subject of climbing, things are a little tricky. Now, if you’ve playing a lot of games which involved climbing building or other stuff, you would be tempted to jump your way to top. In Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild, this is unadvisable since jumping while climbing can completely deplete your stamina, leaving you hanging like a rock. It also doubles your chances of falling which will result in a big game over screen.
So, the best way to reach the top unharmed is to let Link climb at a steady pace and to stop along the way a couple of times to replenish your stamina. As for the other things you should keep in mind before playing the Legend of Zelda – talk to everyone, complete side-quests, save often, learn how to cook, and never charge into battle.
