Before the Nexus 5X, Google discovered that fans are hard to please with 2014’s Nexus 6, since that was a much bigger and more costly smart phone than its predecessor, the Nexus 5, and the producer was not sure that the 6 model will be liked just like the 5th generation. Actually, many Nexus lovers did not enjoy 6’s features and they were not enthusiastic about investing $700 for another gadget or using an extremely large phone.
So this season, Google has launched a pair of Nexus mobile phones. There is the bigger and pricier Huawei-produced Nexus 6P and then you have the 5X version, the true heir of the Nexus 5. Nexus 5X provides many of the elements that made the 5 model a crowd favorite: it is easy to use with just one hand, owns a strong series of technical specifications and costs under $400. It is also designed by LG, a company that was accountable for the Nexus 4 and 5.
Nexus 5 was not famous for having excellent style and the Nexus 5 X makes no exception. It is a plain smart phone, but there are a number of other minimal changes in the Nexus 5X as opposed to 5. The 5.2”, 1080p screen is a little bigger, but otherwise almost identical in overall look. It is clear and great for reading and watching videos, but its colors are clearly smooth and do not have the dynamic range of other phone screens. The gadgets’ speaker has been shifted from the lower part of the smart phone to its top, but it is still only one speaker.
The Nexus 5X now has the USB Type-C wire for charging and this is an additional stress rather than a comfort right now. Google offers just one Type-C cable that cannot be connected to a conventional USB slot without having an adaptor. This means that the user should spend more for spare parts to replace the less-used micro USB wires. Nexus 5X also does not have a wireless charging feature, so this type of rechargers is now ineffective with Google’s new phones.
But the greatest upgrade forNexus 5X is the new 12MP digicam. It is the same sensor that Google has built in the Nexus 6P and it is the best recording element ever integrated into a Nexus system. It has huge pixels and shoots great images in the majority of difficult situations. But it is a lot better than other cameras on previous Nexus mobile phones, so you do not have to complain about it. Most users will be truly satisfied with the images taken by their new Nexus 5X.
