Google’s Inbox app makes holiday traveling much easier and, in the spirit of our near coming vacations, the company is trying to make its users’ schedules more organized. The online giant presented a series of small, but extremely practical, enhancements for the Inbox application for Gmail that should make simpler the procedures of submitting travel schedules and images from these trips.
The Inbox services already provide an element known as Trip Bundles that instantly brings in one place various e-mails regarding future visits, like the flight booking verification, car rental companies, resort reservation and offers its clients the more important details, like flight schedules, in the upper part of the screen. The user friendly interface is allowing much faster connections between customers and their close ones with just the click of a button.
Starting from now, users will be allowed to share all these plans with family and friends with just one key, which will save significant time and peace of mind for those who want to travel during these holidays. Until now, the option was hidden in the mailbox, but customers could not do too many things with it due to development restrictions. So, from now on, they will be capable to take all bundles and send them to anyone with a current e-mail address.
Instead of delivering 10 messages about all flight tickets, resort and car bookings, they can now write just one e-mail in order to keep all the members of their family updated about travel moves. This maybe happens because the search engine did not identify a resort reservation or because the users want to add guidelines to a conference where their co-workers sent them.
People can now also include useful emails into a vacation schedule using the app’s “Move to…” selection, an option that many customers have asked for, the search engine said. Lastly, they can also see schedules offline, for the cases when they find spotty wireless connections during their trips. Meanwhile, the company is also developing simpler ways for users to submit their vacation pictures.
Improved cellular accessories provide people fast accessibility to their latest images, and let them connect several images at once, as the search engine affirmed in its announcement. These additional functions are being released for all clients of Gmail’s Inbox app during the next days. The application, which was first presented last year to better organize the users’ mails, was first available to people who had an invitation for it, but is currently provided for all Android and iOS customers.
