The Council Bluffs and Omaha crews persisted work in cleaning up the mess on the roads because of the wind and snow drifts. Council Bluffs used 18 trucks and four graders with the wet snow turning out to be problematic.
Both the Omaha crews and Council Bluffs work on 12 hour shifts putting the salt down on the ice. However, snow keeps falling and winds make it difficult to clean the streets. Bellevue, Council Bluffs, Millard, Omaha, Papillion-La Vista, and Ralston were reported to have a snowy Monday for these incidents. The city already declared the mandatory odd-even parking ban for removing the snow.
