According to the Pennsylvania authorities, a murder-suicide investigation has begun in Manchester Township, after a mother, her son, and the man’s three-year-old daughter have been found dead inside their house. The preliminary police report reveals that the tragedy stemmed from a custody dispute between the mother and her son. Authorities declared that it was the son who shot his mother and his daughter before taking his own life.
Pennsylvania Man Kills Mother and His Own Daughter
A spokesperson for the Northern York County Regional Police Department declared that several police officers found three dead bodies in a Manchester Township house. Apparently, the bodies belonged to 50-year-old Tammy June Williams, Frankie Thomas Williams, the woman’s 21-year-old son, and Kelly June Williams, Frankie’s 3-year-old daughter.
Although the case was not without challenges, the authorities concluded that it was a murder-suicide which, more than likely, stemmed from the conflict between Thomas Williams and his mother. According to the information uncovered so far, Frankie Thomas Williams and Tammy June Williams were arguing, for quite some time, about Thomas’s daughter, Kelly June.
Feeling that her son would be unable to raise her granddaughter properly, Tammy Williams decided to apply for the child’s custody. Hearing that her mother wants to take his daughter away from him, the man, reportedly got mad and threatened to kill her and the rest of the family.
Tammy June Dismisses’s Her Son’s Death Threats
Nevertheless, Tammy June decided to ignore Frankie’s threats and to forward the necessary paperwork to the authorities. A woman from North Carolina, whom Tammy June was supposed to meet for the inevitable custody exchange told the authorities that she got worried when the woman failed to show up for her appointment.
The authorities were later called in order to check up on the woman, who owns a house in Manchester Township. When the police officers arrived at Tammy June’s house and rang the doorbell, no one answered the door.
The officers went to the back of the house to see if the door is unlocked or if there was anyone in the yard. Upon approaching a living room window, the officer saw a dog coming from behind the curtain, thus providing them with a view inside the house. Looking through the window, the officers saw a woman lying on a couch, in an unnatural position.
When they entered the Manchester Township house, they’ve discovered that the woman was shot to death. After searching the house, the authorities found two more bodies: young Kelly and her husband. The man committed suicide.
