Pushing the Technological Boundaries with the Dell Chromebook 13

dell-chromebook-13Dell makes a bold attempt with its first Dell Chromebook 13, the next generation of the welcomed 11” edition it launched in 2014. It could be promoted toward company customers but, for many reasons, this is a notebook that any user who prefers the features of Chrome would really like. That top quality arrives at a higher price: the base cost for a Dell Chromebook 13 is $430.

Even if the Chromebook 13 has a more significant price tag than the competitors, but for these extra dollars you get a series of advantages. Among these: components that seem like they are from more expensive devices, excellent efficiency, amazing battery power and one of the best displays you will find on a mobile device. If you already enjoy Chrome OS’ options, you must try this notebook.

From the exterior, Dell Chromebook 13 has the modest design discovered on its Chromebook 11 predecessor, with just a few brighter shades of Chrome’s brand on the cases. It may not be the most impressive or eye-catching computer on the market, but it is efficient and ergonomic like traditional devices that remain oldies but goldies.

The magnesium metal framework, graphite incorporated on its lid and a dark Dell branding are all simple and good for the PC’s company reputation and also look to be extremely influenced by well-made XPS products. This is not a thing that any worker or client will complain about during its use.

This no-nonsense style is expanded to how the laptop sits in your arms and when you work on it. It is a tad thicker with 0.85” at the largest part and it is a little on the heavy side weighing over 3.2 lbs, but it seems a solid gadget and not one developed with low costs. Compared with most Chromebooks, there is no slight bend when you are pressing its surface or taking the item around.

It is among the best-made Chrome laptop computers, taking many elements from the Chromebook Pixel, as it should be at that higher cost. It is obvious that the manufacturer is utilizing its vast expertise from other laptops in its collection, and as a result, this device acts like a powerful, time-tested model, and not like the first edition of a new item for the organization.

In the opinion of many people, any laptop has to get its track pad, keyboard, track pad and display right, these elements being the reason why many have been so frustrated with the dreadful 1,366 by 768 screens that fill the majority of Chromebooks.

Luckily, Dell is successful on all matters here. The 13” 1080p resolution stands put in the crowd of mobile devices, while the organization says that it has an IPS display, even if the viewing details are not excellent like those that you see on more costly systems. However, this is a great-looking display that lastly provides a good-size work area on a new Chromebook.
