Oculus Rift announces PC ready bundles for those eager to get their hands on the full experience pack. The Oculus ready bundles are offered by Dell, Asus and Alienware.

Oculus Rift announces PC ready bundles for those eager to get their hands on the full experience pack. The Oculus ready bundles are offered by Dell, Asus and Alienware. Starting from 999 dollars and reaching as much as 3,000 dollars, the bundles offer a complete pack with the Oculus VR headset.

All the rigs have been tested with the Oculus VR headset. They’re available for a limited time with the pre-order announced to start on February 16th. Considering the price tag for the Oculus VR headset is announced at 600 dollars, some of the Oculus ready bundles are quite the offer. All of us keeping an eye out on the novelties of the VR sector know that a smooth VR experience doesn’t come by for peanuts.

Nonetheless, if you believe the following Oculus ready bundles are too pricey, you’re welcome to configure your own set. Oculus Rift announces PC ready bundles which include the Oculus VR headset plus the PC to ensure that smooth VR experience. In additions, the Oculus ready bundles come with the remote, the sensor the XBox One controller and Lucky’s Tale and EVE: Valkyrie Founder’s Pack games. Pre-orders will be honored come April.

The Oculus ready bundles could be replicated at home. The minimum requirements announced by the company are an Nvidia GTX 970/ AMD 290 coupled with an i5-4590, 8GB of RAM and at least Windows 7 SP1. If you’re not sure whether or not you need to invest some more in your rigs to have the full VR experience, Oculus has a compatibility tool which allows testing.

As for the Oculus ready bundles, here they are. Dell offers the Oculus ready bundle at 999 dollars. The Dell XPS 8900 SE has an i5-6400 under the hood, 8GB of RAM and the Nvidia 970. It also sports a 1TB hard disk.

The Asus G11CD offers the same specs at 949 dollars. The second Oculus ready bundle from Asus is the Asus ROG G20CB Model 1. At 1,349 dollars, the Asus ROG G20CB sports the same Nvidia 970 and the i5-64000. However, it comes with a 512GB SSD coupled with 16GB of RAM.

The third option from Asus is the Asus ROG G20CB Model 2. One step up the specs ladder, the Asus ROG G20CB Model 2 features the i7-6700 and Nvidia 980. It gets extra points for packing both a 1TB hard disk and a 256GB SSD coupled with 16GB of RAM. The Asus ROG G20CB Model 2 Oculus ready bundle comes at 1,599 dollars.

Oculus Rift announces PC ready bundles and some of these come from gamers’ favorite Alienware. The cheapest offer from Alienware is the Alienware X51 R3 Model 1. This model pack the Nvidia 970 with the i5-6400, the 1TB hard disk and 8GB of RAM.

Alienware’s second Oculus ready bundle ordered by price is the Alienware X51 R3 Model 2. The model comes with the i7-5820K, Nvidia 980, a 256GB SSD and 16GB of RAM. The price tag is 1,499 dollars. As for the last of Alienware’s offers, it’s known as the Alienware Area 51. This option packs much of the same specs as the previously mentioned offer. The difference is made by the 2TB hard disk coupled with the 128 GB SSD. This is the priciest option yet at 2,549 dollars.

As Oculus Rift announces PC ready bundles, it’s up to you to make your choice.
