The beta version of Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 was finally released.
Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 Beta was released yesterday by EA. This version is a bit different from the original one, which was a more relaxed game. This time though, you are allowed a fast tutorial and after that the game begins.
There is even a new mode called the Backyard Battleground, which allows you to roam more and is simpler. In order to test the classes you can fight Al and by doing so you can earn more coins. In order to heal or to gain more power you need to raise a flag situated on a flag pole. The flag pole will also help you fight the zombies. You can also choose to be on the zombie side. You are able to play in split screen and join multiplayer as well. For now, multiplayer is limited to Turk Takeover and Team Vanquish.
The Backyard Battleground mode also lets you level up. A few things are blocked in the beta version and you will be able to unblock them, like the abilities. This version presents some characters in a different way. The Imp is one of them, and it has two forms available, with different weapons and different abilities.
The plants are joined by Citron, Kernel Corn and Rose. Citron has an energy shield, a beam weapon, a charge blast and it can turn into a ball. The Imp is joined by Super Brainz and by Captain Deadbeard. Other characters that are included in the game are Rose, the mighty sorceress, Shrinking Violet who can shrink zombies, Night Shade and Moonflower.
If you’ll want to see your achievements and the gaming statistics, you will need to go to the Stats Room. The Sticker Book is also located in the Stats Room, and it will provide you with the unlocked challenges you still need to face and the awards that you will receive after each challenge. In the Quest Board you will find some challenges that have useful rewards.
The game is played almost like the original one and the extra classes offered give the players the chance to approach the battle differently and to have more diversified options. Until now, the beta version of the game has received a lot of positive feedback. If you want to download the game, you can use GameSpot. Although the game was supposed to be launched only in February, the developers of the game decided to launch it one month early. Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 Beta was released yesterday and is available for PlayStation 4 and for Xbox One as well.
