The Galaxy S7 series may bring totally new options to the table. Several months represent an extremely long time when it comes to the smart phone market, so it is no surprise the fact that Samsung already makes plans to release the next version of its leading devices. While the South Korean giant may still have more than half a year ahead from presenting to its fans everything that it is new in the Galaxy S series, sources in mass media have already found out a few of the functions that we will experience in the S7 models.
According to journalists, the company will integrate pressure-sensitive displays and an innovative high-speed port for power charging in its future gadgets, which are scheduled for release in the spring of 2016. The producer is allegedly considering the addition of retina scanning sensors in some models of its upcoming leading phones, even if this is not certain information.
As it was the case with the current S6 series, Samsung will present two models at the same time: Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. By adding the pressure-sensitive screen, Samsung seems to follow some of Apple’s ideas for its iPhones, which are already offering 3D Touch options. With a Type-C slot, Samsung’s Galaxy S7 is expected to charge considerably quicker, with some experts saying that gadgets will allow a complete day of regular usage in less than half an hour and in a few fortunate situations even under that short time.
An enhanced digicam is also rumored to be arriving in the S7 models, one that could work significantly better in lower light spaces and that sits completely flat, since the existing Galaxy S6 phones have a tiny bump on their back. Generally, it does not seem that the next S7 series will have too many differences in comparison with this year’s devices.
However, Samsung’s representatives believe that the company will be able to cover the market’s demands better than its forerunner and prevent producing an inappropriate number of mobile phones. People expect that the Samsung Galaxy S7 models will be officially presented at one of the major tech events that will take place this spring, with the devices being offered for sale just a few days later.
In fact, this early release is a deliberate one, since the South Korean company does not want to allow any other competitor to take the lion’s share this time. Apple is already maximizing its profits with just two models of smartphones, so Samsung is trying to focus its attention on the same pair of leading gadgets.
