Capcom announced that Ultimate Marvel Versus Capcom 3 will land on PC and Xbox One on the 7th of March.
Ever wondered what will be like to pit Chun Lin or Dante against Doctor Strange, Dormammu or even Captain American? Well, you are going to find out soon enough, because Capcom just announced that a digital copy of the latest Ultimate Marvel Versus Capcom 3 is going to land on PC and Xbox One starting on the 7th of March.
Rightfully considered one of the mash-ups, Ultimate Marvel Versus Capcom 3 is exactly the thing you need if you are a fan of both Universes. So, what’s it like playing the game? First of all, we have to say that although Capcom’s game isn’t as graphically appealing as let’s say Mortal Kombat X, it’s quite fun to play, especially if you have friends over.
The PlayStation 4 version of the game, which was released back in December, was an instant hit. Nearly every fan of both Universes wanted to see what’s it like to have your favorite Marvel/Capcom characters fight to the death.
Performance-wise, the PlayStation 4 version of the game saw major improvements back in December, when the developers launched a pack filled with all kinds of goodies like all DLCs, 60 fps support, and of course 1080p compatibility.
And now let’s get to the fun part, which is the clash of the titans. According to Capcom, Ultimate Marvel Versus Capcom 3 features 12 new characters, including Frank West, Phoenix Wright, Rocket Raccoon, Nova, Iron Fist, Hawkeye, Doctor Strange, and Nemesis. This means that you will be able to choose between 50 characters.
The game’s latest installment also comes with a few changes in the area of character’s core abilities. To quote a few of them, according to Capcom’s blog, Akuma’s health has now be decreased to 750,000 HP, Amaterasu can now change weapons mid-air, Dante’s hits now have increased the chance of knocking back opponents, and Dormammu’s awesome Dark Spell can be canceled.
So, come March, you will be able to enjoy the same gritty, fast-paced, and fun combat game, and to see your favorite characters bash each other’s brains out.
According to Capcom, the PC and Xbox One digital version of the game will be launched on the 7th of March, accompanied by an exclusive physical edition of the game. The digital version will cost $25, while the special and very limited edition which includes a 10-page comic book, will cost around $30.
