Volkswagen is known to be among the top brands of cars worldwide. Nonetheless, we cannot deny the fact that even the top companies experience fall sometimes. In the month of November 2014, Volkswagen sales experienced its biggest fall down for this year. This is primarily due to the fact that the demand for autos in Latin America and Eastern Europe contracted and the very fact that the manufacturer switched to a newer model late in the month.
The company revealed on Monday that their deliveries fell down from 529,500 deliveries last year to 508,400 deliveries last month. This is already the fourth consecutive month of Volkswagen of little or worse, no volume growth at No. 1 automaker in Europe.
The sales for the VW brand declined by 0.4 percent by the month of October 2014 and more or less flat in the months of August and September 2014.
According to Christian Kringler, who is the chief of WV sales, the markets’ challenging developments will still continue for the remaining days of the year. He also added that the VW is not yet totally immune to the impact of this fall down. Will the brand have a better year next year or not? That is yet to find out.
