Although reports had placed the release date later in spring, the Ultra HD 4K Blu-ray Disc Player is already available in Santa Monica, at the Video&Audio Center.
Samsung’s Ultra HD 4K Blu-ray Disc Player hits the market in a surprise release at one select location. Although reports had placed the release date later in spring, the Ultra HD 4K Blu-ray Disc Player is already available in Santa Monica, at the Video&Audio Center.
While not everyone jumped in with the latest 4K craze, some people are really excited by the opportunity to try the Ultra HD 4K Blu-ray Disc Player first hand. The price tag of this device is currently 399 dollars which fits perfectly with your Ultra HD TV.
Samsung’s Ultra HD 4K Blu-ray Disc Player was announced last month during the Consumer Electronics Show, a tech feat for everyone. Not only Samsung, but also Philips announced 4K players coming out soon. Nobody expected it to be so soon, though. Nonetheless, this is a good opportunity for aficionados to experience real cinematic quality from the comfort of their home.
Although Samsung’s Ultra HD 4K Blu-ray Disc Player hits the market in Santa Monica, California, no release date has been announced for the rest of the U.S.
Tom Campbell with the Video&Audio Center stated that:
“There’s a lot of consumer interest in this. This player is phenomenal. With it consumers are ready for the future”.
Sure, we can argue that in time the technology will advance, the price tags will drop and overall, the results will be better. However, it does makes sense to purchase Samsung’s Ultra HD 4K Blu-ray Disc Player even as it is the first player to support 4K quality.
The 4K player may be used with 3D content discs, standard Blu-ray, CDs and DVDs. At the same time, if you feel like streaming 4K content from Netflix or any other services, Ultra HD 4K Blu-ray Disc Player is the perfect medium.
There’s not much of 4K content available. However, Twentieth Century Fox has just released the Oscar-nominated The Martian as well as Kingsmen: The Secret Service in 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray discs format. Amazon.com already features The Martian for 29.99 dollars with the release date set for March 1st.
