Developers at Microsoft are pleased with the results of their endeavor, as Windows 10 seems to be more and more popular. In order to keep the same performance, they announced that users could pre-order games.
The Windows 10 games are available for people to pre-order them on Windows Store. For the moment, there are three titles on the list of existing games, namely Forza Horizon 3, Gear of War 4, and ReCore. These are all Xbox Play Anywhere games.
Xbox Play Anywhere is a recent feature, acquired by Windows this summer, in June. It means that if you digitally purchase a game for your PC, you get a free version of it for Xbox. If you first download the Xbox version, than the PC one is also included.
Moreover, the Xbox Play Anywhere feature also brings you the advantage of switching the devices whenever you feel like. In other words, your scores and achievements are saved on the last device you used when playing the game. When accessing the other device, you can simply start where you left off with your game.
The first of the three Window 10 games which will be released is Recore. There are different release days for Europe and the U.S. It will first be available for Americans to pre-order it starting September 13, while Europeans will get it around the end of the month.
Forza Horizon 3 will also have different release dates, but it won’t depend on countries or continents. The game will be available almost one week earlier for ultimate edition owners than for the rest of the buyers. The official release dates are September 23, and September 27 respectively.
Gears of War 4 will be the last release of this round of Windows 10 games. As opposed to the previous two games, Gears of War 4 will be available for everyone after the first week in October, namely on October 7.
If you were curious about the prices of these games, Forza Horizon 3 and Gears of War 4 can be pre-ordered for $59.99. Recore is twenty dollars cheaper, at the cost of $39.99. However, both American and European gamers don’t seem to be pleased with the prices.
If you don’t afford to get all three of them, you should start thinking about your favorite. Nevertheless, if you are not fond of any of them, perhaps learning that more games will be added in the Windows Store will make you happy. Only a few of such titles are Sea of Thieves, H, Scalebound, K, Ark: Survival Evolved, and We Happy Few.
