Melanoma is the most dangerous types of skin cancer, and it develops when DNA fails to repair damages of the skin which are most of the times caused by ultraviolet rays provoked by sun or sun beds tanning. These rays lead to a genetic mutation in our skin causing the skin cells to multiply at a very fast speed and to form cancerous tumors.
The Skin Cancer Association advises people to avoid as much as possible tanning, both sun and sun beds and to always protect their skin before exposing it to sun light.
